Supermarket Cashier

Responsibilities:

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the checkout.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with proper attention to security.
• Provide customers with receipts and assist with bagging groceries.
• Resolve any customer issues or questions in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Restock shelves and assist with inventory as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy when handling money.
• Ability to stand for long periods and handle busy checkout lines.
